Function

The system consists of a single indoor unit that extracts energy from the air and provides domestic hot water. The unit extracts up to 60% of the energy it uses from the air, while the remainder is produced from electricity. This heat pump relies on a compressor and a refrigerant to transfer energy from air to water, heating the water to the required temperature and delivering it to the home's appliances.

Installation

The Daikin Altherma M HW can be installed in any room, including unheated rooms like garages and laundry rooms, and requires no special installation procedures, except for drilling holes for the 160 mm diameter air intake/exhaust pipes.
